Andrea Arroyo exhibe " Presencia ", una serie de obras que celebran el coraje de las mujeres , en el sitio histórico de la Convención de los primeros derechos de la Mujer , celebrada en 1848 , en Seneca Falls , Nueva York .
Fechas de la exposición : 15 septiembre-15 octubre, 2013 . Conversación en la galería y  recepción de la Artista : Sábado, 21 de septiembre de 1 a 4 pm . Horario de la galería : Todos los días 9am-5pm.

 Presencia , cuenta con veinte obras de arte que celebran la fuerza de las mujeres y honran el cuerpo femenino. Mientras que conmemora la historia de personajes históricos extraordinarios , la artista también celebra el papel de la mujer en la sociedad contemporánea , y llama la atención a los temas de justicia de género.
 Obras de la exposición incluyen "The Dancer - Homenaje a Gabriela Mistral ( Chile 1889-1957 ) ", presentado en la tarjeta de invitación , " Jardín de Eliza - Homenaje a Eliza Jumel ( EE.UU. , 1775-1865 ), " y "Blue Mayahuel - Azteca Diosa de Agave ", todas obras inspiradas por poderosos personajes femeninos de diversas culturas del mundo.
Sobre el artista: Andrea Arroyo es un artista galardonada con una extensa trayectoria. Su obra se exhibe, se publica, se reseña y reconoce internacionalmente .
Varios premios de la Sra. Arroyo incluyen : Global Citizen Award del artista seleccionado por el presidente Bill Clinton , 21 Líderes para el Siglo 21 , Latina Pionera en las Artes , artista oficial de los Latin Grammy , Latina Destacada del Año , Mujer de la semana , las mujeres en la Fundación Mundial y el New York City Council Citation por destacarse en las artes. Andrea Arroyo exhibits “Presencia” a series of works that celebrate women’s courage, 
at the historical site of the first Women’s Rights Convention held in 1848, in Seneca Falls, NY.

“Presencia” features twenty artworks that celebrate women’s strength and honor the female body. While commemorating the stories of extraordinary historical figures, the artist also celebrates the role of women in contemporary society and brings attention to issues of gender justice.
 Works in the exhibit include “The Dancer – Homage to Gabriela Mistral (Chile 1889-1957 ),” featured in the invitation card, “Eliza’s Garden – Homage to Eliza Jumel (US,1775-1865,)” and “Blue Mayahuel - Aztec Goddess of Agave,” all works inspired by powerful female characters from a variety of world cultures. 
About the artist: Andrea Arroyo is an award-winning artist with an extensive trajectory. Her artwork is exhibited, published, reviewed and collected internationally.
Ms. Arroyo's numerous honors include: Global Citizen Award Artist selected by President Bill Clinton; 21 Leaders for the 21st Century; Groundbreaking Latina in the Arts; Official Artist of the Latin Grammys; Outstanding Latina of the Year; Woman of the Week, Women in the World Foundation; and the New York City Council Citation Award for Achievement in Art. She has received awards from the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance, the Puffin Foundation and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, and Fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts.
